But his opinions change on his own disorder all the time. personality: With Leo being a pathological liar, his personality is sort of hard to single out. From first glance, Leo is your average innocent sixteen year-old. But as soon as you really get to know him, or you turn your back he really isn't. He isn't shy around new people, and he likes to impress in any way that he can. People find it hard to figure him out because of how much he lies and how he's never really told anyone his true past so he likes to hide behind his lies without even knowing it. But really, Leo is a sweet kid who likes impress people and have a lot of friends. He could be described as the one weird popular kid that makes everyone laugh. brief history: Leo has always been a pathological liar. His parents didn't think much of it when he was a child, because children lied. But soon they realized that he begun to believe his own lies. He could hardly remember anything that was true in the world anymore. It would start off with small lies or just confusing statements like he would walk downstairs and exclaim that it was his birthday, then his parents would say that it wasn't... then he would just have a confused look on his face. Then it got worse. It got to the point that if he was around someone that he was uncomfortable with he would make up lies to throw that person off, and then start fights with him or her. Or he would infuriate his teachers by trying to convince them that their information was wrong and his was right. Or he would make up stories. The only teacher that didn't care that he did this was his English teacher, because she thought that it was great that he was able to make these stories up, and that he had a mind to challenge things. It was true that Leo was a great writer... but it still wasn't good as to what he was doing. So his parents got frustrated with him and of course, Leo was clueless and he thought that he was just acting normal and he was being a good student. But a bit of his past when his condition wasn't as bad (it wasn't that much in affect from when he was four to about 14)... Leo was a good kid, he always did his work, but he got confused very easily. But no one cared much about it. His own past got jumbled up sometimes, but he always told the same lies to people, that he didn't knew were lies. Though for four years Leo really wanted to be a dancer, gymnast, and volleyball player. Those aspects of his old life are things that he normally keeps quiet, because he gets embarrassed, because those are mostly things for girls. But because of his wishes, he worked on the skills. His parents had signed him up for a volleyball team and he was known as the best hitter and highest jumper. In gymnastics he exceeded when it came to things that were high up in the air like the bars, or the rings. He was pretty good with vaulting too. And then Leo absolutely loved to dance. He made up his own dance moves, and soon he was doing such good dancers, he was frequently called Lee the Tease when it came to his dancing. Leo didn't leave too much when he was placed in the rehabilitation school. Sure he was popular. But he didn't think too much of it when he left. People of course missed him, but he was up to the new adventure. roleplay sample: From another site: Nolan walked through the door of the dance studio quickly. It was an early Saturday morning, but of course, unlike his other college friends, he wasn't able to sleep in after a late night. He had work almost everyday at the dance studio. It was a good job and he enjoyed it, but it also helped pay for college tuition. So he worked whenever he could, and always came in early. His class would start in about an hour, this time he got to teach his class of six and seven year-old ballerinas. There were about five girls and two boys in this session. It was an hour and a half dance class, and Nolan was determined to make the most out of it. He loved his students, and they all seemed to like him too. Sometimes they got on his nerves when they stopped paying attention, or when they wouldn't do what he asked them to. But all the same, they were sweet kids that had bright futures. As he walked to his studio room he slung his bag off his shoulder and started to rifle around inside. A sigh of relief escaped from his mouth when his hand found the homework he'd gotten from one of his classes. Another reason for him to get to the studio early was the fact that he could get some of his homework done. Plus stretching was much easier to do when he wasn't making sure that the kids weren't doing any of the stretches wrong. Nol dropped his bag on the floor and kicked it into the corner of the room, not stopping on his way over to the music player. He pressed play and started doing stretches to some of his own music. The kind he couldn't play around six and seven year-olds. Nolan liked to stay busy, he liked to keep moving and never stop. If he ever had free time, he would always find something to keep him preoccupied. Sure it might've been a part of Nolan's ADHD and his inability to stay still... but he enjoyed being busy all the time. He hated being lazy and just sitting around. That's why he never liked summer or breaks during school, it just left too much time for him to sit around. Flint || 16 || Two Years || Yep! |
