The sun was shining, and in all reality, it would have been a beautiful day. That is, if Cam wasn't stuck in this death hole. He had decided he hated it here and that wasn't changing any time soon. Well, it might change, actually. His plan seemed to be working; showing remorse, etc. His doctor seemed to think that he'd made a breakthrough with Cam - which the younger man thought was kind of hilarious, actually.
In reality, Cam felt absolutely no remorse. But he did like being allowed an extra walk through the gardens. He had always been the type of guy to enjoy the outdoors - hiking, camping, even rock climbing once or twice - and so the opportunity to go out of his tiny little cell - it wasn't a room - was one that Cam relished in. That was why he spend his entire time available to be outside in the gardens - even if it was raining. Today it wasn't raining, though. It was actually a nice day. There was sun shining above and a breeze rustling through the trees. It was nice. It was comfortable.
He hadn't felt comfortable since he'd been brought here. Physically, of course he was fine - the clothing was loose fitting and not scratchy - but he was emotionally unsettled by being here; sometimes it tossed him off of his game, but not often. When he went outside he felt more comfortable than anywhere else on the grounds, but still, he didn't feel quite right.
Finally, he found a place to sit, amongst the field of daisies. This was what comfort felt like - or at least, what Cam thought comfort felt like. The level three had been here so long he found it difficult to remember.
