I break habits Just to fall in love But I do it On designer drugs There was a slam of a car door, and the male who got out raising his hand as the black vehicle disappeared back down the road. Theo stood there with a few suitcases of his things, mostly he had bags with straps, like duffle bags so it was easier to carry. Wearing a thoughtful smile on his face as he stared a few more moments in the direction of the car that had disappeared. One of his friends offered him a ride since they lived in the nearby town. Theo inhaled deeply and let out a long sigh as he slowly turned around. Staring at the building before reaching down to pick up his other two bags.
So that made four in total. The bright step in his gait could've probably had people staring at him. Most people probably wouldn't be so happy to be here. He knew that feeling pretty well, but this was more a job for him. One he was really happy about, and why not? It wasn't like he was here for anything else but to help people. Theo maneuvered his body in a way that he managed to open the doors of White Springs with a bit of a struggle. Though he was still smiling, and his excitement was only growing. He couldn't wait to go put his things in whatever they had here for the staff and then go exploring. Meet the people here and establish relationships.
Theo approached the front desk carefully, though growing a bit nervous or shy. He fumbled, biting his lip as his cheek twitched slightly out of nervousness. "Uhm, excuse me, I'm one of the new Orderlies. I was wondering where I should go, or rather where the facilities are for staff housing? I wasn't well informed before coming here." Theo let out a bit of a nervous chuckle as one of his bags slipped off his shoulder and landed on the floor with a loud thud. Closing one of his eyes at the sound, his smile jumped back up onto his face and earned another nervous laugh from the male.

i hate to break it to you but, YOU’RE JUST A LONELY STAR [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: B8B8B8; border: #550505 solid 4px; width: 400px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] Iris yawned and stretched her arms over her head. She pulled the sleeves of her long sleeved t-shirt that she wore under her scrubs down over her knuckles and leaned back in her seat. She was on break, and instead of spending her break in her apartment watching tv or doing something also mildly entertaining, she was sitting behind the desk at check in. Her friend she was supposed to be spending her lunch break with decided not to go on break today, and so Iris was now sitting with her friend, watching new patients be forced inside and their sobbing parents clinging to one another, or parents coming to visit their troubled son or daughter, or something along those lines. It was getting pretty boring, and she didn’t know why she was sticking around instead of going somewhere else to spend the remaining time of her break.
It was a pretty dreary day. Nothing exciting had happened so far. None of her usual patients had flipped out and attacked anyone, none of them tried to escape. It was a pretty boring day so far. Iris let out a loud sigh, running her hand through her bangs and slouching down in her seat. She stood up from her chair, and leaned over to whisper quietly to her friend, ”I’ll be right back.” before walking into the back room. She had a hankering for something sweet and a few quarters in her pocket, so a vending machine snack would be perfect. She walked over to the snack machine, looking over her choices. She sighed, pulling the change from her pocket and counting it, figuring she shouldn’t pick something and then count her money to find she couldn’t afford it. She had a dollar and twenty-five cents. She made her selection, a bag of sprees, and put her money in the slot before pressing the letter-number combination. She grabbed the change, pushing it back into her pocket and grabbing her bag of candy before walking back into the check in area.
Iris sat back down, pulling her feet up onto the chair. She opened her bag of sprees, popping one into her mouth. She hadn’t had a piece of candy in ages. She glanced over to the door as it opened again, and perked up slightly. Someone walked in with several bags, and he didn’t exactly look like a patient, but didn’t look like a parent either. She slouched back into her seat, not really interested until he approached the desk. She perked up as he introduced himself as one of the new orderlies and glanced over to her friend before back up at the male. ”I’m an orderly…I’ll be happy to show you where the staff stay.” She smiled softly, setting her bag of candy down on the desk. Finally something interesting was happening.

I break habits Just to fall in love But I do it On designer drugs Theo noticed the girl who had a bag of candy with her, not because he liked candy... Well he did, but because her expression was perked now, and she flashed him a smile. He still felt a bit nervous so he flashed her a ridiculously wide smile, and then tried to recover himself. Chuckling a bit as his hand found it's way to cover his mouth and he nodded slightly. At least it seemed the people here, the staff were pretty friendly. He didn't really like the feel of this area right now though. Patients were going in, and unhappy parents were clinging to each other. It made him feel a bit of a pang in his chest, he'd always had an overly compassionate side. His mothers had often told him that. Theo remembered she offered to show him the staff facilities and removed his hand from his mouth to retrieve the bag that had slipped off his shoulder. "Oh, you too? Ah, thank you. I probably would've wandered aimlessly otherwise."
Theo smiled a bit nervously again as he waited for her to start leading the way. He didn't have a problem taking initiative, but that was hard to do in an unfamiliar place. Which he still couldn't wait to explore. He made sure he was out of the way though of other people walking around him. He suddenly felt like a giant statue in the way of everyone and it made him uncomfortable. But his smile twitched out of his nervous feeling. Theo could feel himself growing anxious and had to remind himself to relax or he'd give off a bad vibe himself. "Oh... Wow, I'm sorry. I'm Theo Carmichael... That probably would've been better to say when I came up here. I'd offer my hand but, uh... Bags." Theo shrugged his shoulders a bit and his eyes darted to the corners and downward slightly.
His face turned a slight shade of pink at the comment, and his nervous laugh slipped out of his mouth. But really he wasn't having a bad experience yet. He would really like to get out of here though. Holding bags wasn't exactly fun or helpful. Well, okay he had three bags and guitar case, so the case was probably the worst. Those things were just so obnoxious to carry around. At least since this one was a hard cover case, not one of those soft zip up, throw over your shoulder types. Theo swung his arm out carefully, avoiding hitting someone just barely. Earning himself a glare and causing him to throw the angry mother a sheepish smile and a faltering apology. "Ah, lead the way... Uhm.. Orderly?" Theo was trying to make a joke but had already failed a bit. "That came out wrong... I'm sorry."
