There is no denying that she is a girly girl. She loves clothes and money. She takes great pride in making sure that her appearance is perfect with not a strand of hair out of place. She has an air about her that makes it seem like she is above other people and she has come to believe it over the years. She is, to sum it up, a perfectionist. She is also extremely stubborn and is very blunt. If she has a bone to pick with you, she will let you know. Some classify her as a bitch, but that doesn't bother her. Hell, she knows it and feeds off of it. Her saying is "You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you." She knows that not everyone will love her, but she will make sure that they fear her. She knows how to play innocent around the people that matter and act like the perfect girl they have always seen her as. Brooklyn is also very reserved. She never lets anyone close to her in fear of getting hurt or judge. The less people know about you, the better. She is good at hiding her emotions, instead putting on a mask that she has perfected over the years. The only people that know what she is feeling is herself and anyone else she lets see behind the mask. She is also very defensive and loyal and will protect those people she cares about. She is also extremely manipulative. She is a schemer and knows how to get what she wants, when she wants it. brief history: Brooklyn was born to a rich family and raised on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York. Looking back at her name, it is kind of ironic considering she would never set foot into Brooklyn even if you paid her. Her mom is a fashion designer and her dad is a high profile lawyer so she has never had to fear about never having money. Because her mom was a fashion designer, and not to mention the fact that they lived on the Upper East Side, image was always important. From an early age, Brooklyn was constantly criticized by her mom for her appearance. Her hair wasn't perfect. Her dress was wrinkled. She had put on a little weight. Nothing she did ever seemed good enough for her mom. Around the time she was in the seventh grade, she had developed bulimia, although she only did it a few times a month. She managed to keep it under wraps from everyone and even if her mom knew, she didn't let on. She also felt the need to be perfect with everything else in her life. By the time high school came around, the need to be perfect and be the queen of the school was a full fledge desire. She began to make herself sick more frequently. Alcohol soon came into the picture not long afterwards. It wasn't until after she graduated high school and had started college that everything began to come apart. Her grades began to slip which caused Brooklyn to make herself sick at least four times a day. She also began to drink more. She thought nothing of it and to her, life went on as normal. Until she woke up in a hospital room surrounded by her parents and bright lights. Her parents had found her on the bathroom floor four days prior, unconscious and unresponsive. Now here she is at White Springs trying to recover. roleplay sample:Katy walked into The 8 Ball at around seven. They didn't officially open until around eight, but she had to get ready for her show that night. It had been a crazy week to say the least with officially meeting her sister and brother for the first time. Sure she had met them before and was even friends with Remmy before now, but knowing they were related changed things a bit. Now she was trying to focus on her performance though. She was excited to say the least. That was the one thing where nothing else seemed to matter. It was just her and the music up there. She stood by the dressing table backstage, looking over her appearance making sure everything looked good. She had been talking to Jude recently and he told her he might stop by to hear her perform. Normally she wouldn't dress up for a guy, but he was different and she kind of wanted to get to know him more. She just hoped that he would be here tonight. And for the most part her outfit was relatively simple compared to some of her other looks, but she could deal with that. For once her hair wasn't any crazy color, but simple black. She was in the process of dying it again, but she was in the middle of deciding what color she wanted it to be. At the moment it was between purple and blue, though she was leaning more towards the purple side. Katy looked up and turned around when there was a knock on the door and nodded when the backstage attendant told her she was going on in a minute. She nodded slightly and looked towards the mirror one last time before turning away and heading out the door of the dressing room to take the stage. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before releasing it. She took the mic that someone handed her and the band began to play.
