No notes!
Melissa knew that the classes in this place were mandatory for nearly everyone, but she couldn't stand that the classrooms were located so far away from the dorms that Melissa often preferred to frequent. Classes and herself didn't mix all that well either, they always made her think of the time she had had in 'real' school. Class could make her feel pretty angry, and for the safety of the other patients and some of the staff too, she often had to be taught alone. She didn't like that either but it didn't seem like she was ever going to be able to get out of the lessons she so much despised. But thankfully, lessons has just ended for the day, and after a few hours of catching up on biology, Melissa was standing outside of the virtually empty classroom with her hands loosely clasping her arms as they crossed over her chest loosely.
The day was still young and the twenty one year old was quiet as she stood by the classroom. She had been told to wait for a staff member to come and escort her to her next class, or an appointment. she couldn't really remember which, and wasn't one hundred percent sure if she had actually been told to wait around or if she had just thought that up out of the repetitiveness of a schedule that she had had to follow since she had joined. Lifting a finger to her lips, Melissa bit down softly on the flesh there, breathing softly in the quiet silence as she waited for someone that may or may not have been coming. She wasn't one hundred percent sure, and she was in two minds about staying put. She had never really been the sort of girl that enjoyed standing around in one place for too long. And besides, if anyone really needed her, they would come and find her. Sure, that made total sense.
So, with that thought still fresh in her mind, Melissa moved away from the wall she had been leaning against and began to walk down the corridor. Her walk was idle, and almost reluctant, as if she wasn't entirely sure about whether or not she should have been going anywhere. Her arms looped across the front of her body once more, and as the pale hair on top of her head shifted around a little while she cocked her neck around to see if there was anyone around, she felt quite alone. She couldn't see anyone, or maybe she wasn't looking properly. The latter of those choices seemed appropriate, considering as soon as Melissa turned her head back to face forward, all she saw was a chest, or something of the like before she bounced off of it, or them. She really wasn't sure what had just happened, but as she collected herself, Melissa recovered and rubbed at the back of her neck before looking up to see who it was that she had bumped into. It looked like one of the orderlies, and already Melissa was regretting moving from where it was that she had been expected to stay. Her eyes widened for a moment, before she recollected her thoughts and her expressions and tried to keep a calm and cool demeanour about herself, as if she knew that she was in the right place at the right time. "Hi." She stated clearly, clearing her throat a moment after. It seemed as though she had gotten something lodged in the back of her throat. Oh well, she was sure she'd be able to find herself some water soon.
